The size, shape and angle would ruin one of the best characteristics of a 1911, IMO.

It is still a Glock angle but with a flat back strap.

In order for it to work with a Glock 22* angle mag in a 1911 18* angle frame the mag well would need to be thin at the top front and bottom rear and thick at the top rear and bottom front which would make it a very long grip even for 9/40, 10/45 would be massive.
