It appears your stuck with whatever grip pattern they offer. Because it adds some mass to the underside of the trigger guard, it does force your grip hand down and away from the center of the bore, when a high as possible grip is what is optimal.

good luck finding a holster for it, would work for the nightstand though.


I like the looks of the Novak add-on rail but cringe at the thought of drilling the mounting holes.

Why not a Dawson rail my buddy has one on his 10-8 nighthawk just have to find a smith that's good at drilling

Seems like a small Weaver pic rail would easily fit a 1911 under the barrel just requiring two tapped holes
