I bought one of these about 2 months ago. I was looking for something cheap in order to use up some other spare parts. I use the resulting "frankenrifle" to exclusively shoot steel ammo. The barrel that came with mine loves Tula, specifically the 55gr HP berdan primed and 62gr FMJ berdan primed stuff with the non-copper appearing jackets (silver). The upper receiver is a little rough, but I have no complaints about the barrel and the handguard (which is excellent). I felt like I got a good deal at $115 and I'm considering buying another at $99. YMMV
