The Dalles is the half way point between these locations.

it would be a 5 hour round trip for either of us. Going to say that I'm not interested in burning half a days worth of daylight, I have too many projects after work and on weekends to devote that much time to a swap. Being honest, just not worth the drive/time.

Appreciate your devotion to loading for grandson.
