winchester 92
The Winchester Model 1892 was a lever-action repeating rifle designed by John Browning as a smaller, lighter version of his large-frame Model 1886, and which replaced the Model 1873 as the company's lever-action for pistol-caliber rounds such as the .44-40.
After so many insightful comments on my last post I thought I'd post this 92 for insights. It's chambered in 32 WCF. Has a 20" barrel. Rear sight looks to me to have been added later. Everything else looks original. Serial dates at 1905 based on online searches? It weights 5.75 pounds.
Nice, basically new, stainless Rossi R92 lever action chambered in .357. I bought it on a whim several months back, because who isn't romantic about awesome old lever guns?? It's been to the range once and works perfectly. Super fun to shoot, but just won't be something that I'll use very...
