The Thompson/Center Contender is a break-action single-shot pistol or rifle that was introduced in 1967 by Thompson/Center Arms. It can be chambered in cartridges from .22 Long Rifle to .45-70 Government.

    What is the deal with chokes on TC Contender barrels

    So I have an old contender barrel. It has a choke on it and I am wondering if it is fine and normal or if the choke needs to be removed before firing .357 or .38 special through this. I have never before seen such a thing.
