high standard
High Standard Firearms was an American manufacturer of firearms, based in Houston, Texas. The company was founded in Hamden, Connecticut in 1926 as a supplier to the numerous firearms companies in the Connecticut Valley. It went out of business in 2018.
I have a High Standard Model 10B 12-gauge bullpup shotgun for sale or trade. This model and its earlier brother the 10A were produced between 1967 and sometime in the mid-70’s. They were marketed mostly to law enforcement and some to the military, used mostly for close quarters or entry...
I recently inherited firearms from a family member and I’m selling off some of them.
I can’t find a lot of information about this gun other than it’s marked high standard, it’s nickel plated and the frame is marked Philippines. It comes with one Wilson combat mag and one act mag.
$450 plus...

I recently found one of these second hand, and decided to purchase it due to condition and the High Standard name. I have been having a hard time finding much info on these on the web, so I thought I might pick the brains of more knowledgeable folks here. Mine is a blued 4", with the adj rear...

This is a very nice little revolver, all original, stag grips! Comes complete with original box, papers and warranty card! Excellent bluing and no issues except some nicks on the right side tube. Not sure what happened to it. Bore is very nice and shiny! Hardly ever fired. Great collector...
I have a high standard "the plinker" for sale today there isn't anything wrong with it other than some worn finish on the slide from a previous owner. Functions smoothly like it should fits well in most hands, I'm downsizing my collection and I don't shoot this as much as I thought I would. It...
I'm in that place where I'm trying to replace items I've owned before but let go and regret it.
Sheridan Knockabout. This was the first gun I ever owned. About 1974 is cost me $20 and a Playboy lighter (the one that undresses when you turn it over). They cost more today... I had another one...
Working High Standard Model 10A police shotgun. So ugly it’s beautiful. The light works on it and has all the components, I just can’t figure out how to assemble it properly. I’ve put 10 rounds through it without any issues. It’s missing the front sight post and front sling mount. The front...
Get two for price of one. They are rough but they are in great working order. Both are .22lr. or best offer. Please contact me 253 when 361 ready 0527.
If memory serves me correct, these JC Higgins Sears shotguns are High Standards. This has been shortened by the folks at Allison & Carey gunwork. It’ll make a nice truck gun, it’s got a funny scrawl on the pump “Problem Solver”. Buttpad is hard as rock, but the slide is really, really smooth...
