The .38 S&W, also commonly known as .38 S&W Short, or 9×20mmR is a revolver cartridge developed by Smith & Wesson in 1877. Versions of the cartridge were the standard revolver cartridges of the British military from 1922 to 1963. Though similar in name, it is not interchangeable with the later .38 Smith & Wesson Special due to a different case shape and slightly larger bullet diameter.
Researching this pistol is somewhat difficult so I'm probably off on price and age. Feel free to steer me in the right direction on either. Or if you'd like more pictures, or if I can do any function checks you'd like. I'm not a revolver guy, so all I know is the single action works. Double...

Wanting to load for a Webley in 38/200... but also looking at getting one or two other older top breaks...
From what I have seen its sounds like loading the 38SW with the 200gr bullet for the Webley is one thing, but those loads would not be suitable for an old Smith or Iver Johnson, etc...
