Does the range fee cover pigeon's for trap, or how dies that work?
If not can someone please provide the cost for pigeons.

Also i assume they require a chamber flag? Or does an empty shell casing flag work. Been a LONG time since going to an official range and dont usually bring a flag in my bags.

TIA! And happy shooting!

They have flags... Not sure if the shell flag would fly I'd just use theirs. Not sure on the shotgun stuff. Call em up they will answer.
Hello. Do you work on AK74's and if yes are you able to fit a new barrel and add a side sight mount to one?
Hi Tim
I have a 1903A3 that needs a little lovin. The barrel is shot out and needs to be replaced. I have a Criterion 1903A3 barrel coming in, are you able to rebarrel and headspace a 1903A3?

What the hecks going on???
Hi Tim,

Wanted to touch base with you about doing a caliber conversion on a 9mm Springfield Ronin, to .38 super. My intent is to retain the original 9mm functionality of the Ronin and add the .38 super functionality. Is this something you'd be interested in doing and willing to take on? Do let me know either way.

Thanks,
Craig

Is Donovan still involved with the company? Saw online that he'd sold it.
Anyone know what they charge for private transfers and if they do them? Do you need an appointment like others?

Did a private transaction with them couple of months ago, no appointment needed or face covering for that matter. Transaction was somewhere around $30, on par with other places I've used.

Edit: transaction $35.
open Sundays.
Not certain about private party shipping to them for a transaction, mine was F2F.

Can confirm this as they emailed me back as well. Very responsive looking forward to closing the transaction.
I have several ak's that I would like to have refinished (Yugo M70 underfolders), I would like to go with a traditional black.
I need someone to re-populatate the barrels first (century arms, need I say more ;) )
How much would that run me?
In Wa.
I have a sam7k-34 with canted sights. Can you fix them?

Hi @natev1
Take hwy 34 out of Philomath heading towards Waldport. Turn right on Marys Peak road/botanical area. This will be at the top of the pass. 44.449109,-123.522359
Go up the road about 4ish miles and there will be a paved parking lot on the left. If you start going down hill you have gone to far. Park in the parking lot. Walk the gravel road beside the parking lot back about 300 yards and your there. You will walk around a big yellow gate.
I will be going up to Gooseneck Road tomorrow. Are all the roads cleared and where is a good spot to sight in a rifle (up to 50 yards).

thank you

I was up there a week ago and when you take the upper road and get to the forks I went right where I normally go and it was still blocked by trees.
Some friends and i were thinking about going here soon. I recently bought target stand below. There are 4 holes to help secure stand to ground. Is this even necessary? And if so, what is the ground like there? is it hard gravel? soft dirt? thanks!

It is mostly gravel on the upper lanes and compacted dirt on the lower two lanes.
You could get by with a heavy rock or only hitting paper tho.
Member 34319
If it is really windy, you may need something to aid in keeping it upright. Otherwise, I'd say you won't need anything. Heavy rocks or some sand bags in the legs might help if absolutely needed. There isn't really a way to stake targets however due to the composition of the range.
Total noob here. What sort of targets would you recommend if I'm bringing handgun and rifle? I've only shot paper targets with handgun at range. Is there anything to place targets on ? thanks!

You'll have to bring your own target stands. If you just want to hit something, I recommend steel targets for unlimited, non interrupted fun. If you want to zero in your sights or evaluate your accuracy, I'd use paper targets.

Whatever you attach your targets to, please remember to take it back with you. Too many people just leave their stuff out there and good folks have to pick up after them. Just want to get you started out right.;)

I've been going up there for years, and when I first started, I came up with all sort of home made solutions, none of which held up for long, even the PVC tubing ones don't take being shot well. There are a lot of options, but for the last three years I've been using solutions from an Oregon company Thor Targets. I'm currently using one of the paper target stands, three of their steel plate systems, and a gong. They all have held up well and didn't cost much when you consider you'll be spreading that cost out over years of use. I will also second @arrowshooter in requesting you take with you anything you bring in. I know some people think they are doing the next guy a favor when they leave their post sticking out of the top of the berm not realizing it wasn't supposed to be up there in the first place. What ever you end up shooting at, keep it on the ground, in front of the backstop, and take it with you when you're done.
Can anyone give me an idea on costs for the engraving, maybe a pic of your gun before and after and what that cost was if you dont mind?
