What is the safest way of paying for and shipping a fire arm. I had offers to sell me a rifle but they want the money up front before shipping.

Hey there. It does fall under the SAR definition and rules, in WA. The people who wrote I-1639 declared all semi-auto rifles to be "semi-auto assault rifles."

Anyone go here lately? Is it true they ticket cars, don't want people going up here? No reviews for this place, nothing said about it recently...

I could not find clear information that Wolf Creek range is open for use given that fire season could start any day now. Weather is supposed to be nice for the next few days.

I know i's on short notice, but is there a star party at the top of the shooting range? Are there still tweakers scavenging for shells?

As an annual visitor to Oregon for many years, right up to the lockdown [which coincided with some unpleasant cancer treatment], I like to wear shooting/industrial motif-ed gear that originates in Oregon.

To that end, a couple of years back, I emailed Oregon Rifleworks asking if they could ship gear to UK, as I was uncertain when I'd be coming back.

Is this pit still active for sidearm target shooters? Also, where IS it in Estacada? I used to live out on Eagle Point Rd (2006-07) and I've never heard of this place, but it might just have been after my time there...

That entire area is closed to shooting.

It was a few miles east of Estacada right off Hwy 224. It was inaccessible when 224 was closed due to prior wildfire repair and once 224 reopened USFS, Clackamas River Ranger District, closed the pit and for now what seems to be a permanent prohibition on shooting in the entire surrounding area.

Also be aware that as of August 10 USFS has, along with other restrictions, prohibited discharging a firearm in Mt Hood National Forest. Except for hunting. In effect until October 10 or until rescinded.

The feds will soon open Hwy 224 above Estacada/Promontory. I believe it was may 1st. Shooting has been prohibited on public owned land up there when it opens. I don't know if the area you want info on is part of the closed area. I'm going to assume it is closed. Hellava' long drive to get up there and find out it's closed. For the record, I don't know exactly where the place you asking about is. It was on a map here at sometime. I can't find it now. I do know it was up the hill from the Indian Henry camp ground though.

I have a Smith & Wesson 29-2 that needs some trigger work. You can push off the hammer without touching the trigger. I am in Lebanon and can bring it to your shop sometime.
