Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
I have a Smith & Wesson 29-2 that needs some trigger work. You can push off the hammer without touching the trigger. I am in Lebanon and can bring it to your shop sometime.
I was shooting at Wolf Creek at #4 Sunday with my son. Good time. We left at about 3 but when I was unload the truck when we got home, I discovered that we left something behind. Went back but it was gone. There was a couple shooting (minivan) and a guy picking up brass for reloading (red compact) so maybe one of them picked it up. The guy had a Ruger 22 pistol that he called a real squirrel killer. Maybe someone on here knows them. I know it is a long shot but if at all possible I'd like to get it back.
There have been a handful of folks that have left guns behind. Thankfully, they are usually returned. I would do your due diligence and report the firearm to the authorities. At least that way it is in the database and if someone tries selling it legally, it should get pinged.
I was wondering if you were interested in doing a class on reloading still there is at least I other member that is will to join and pay.
I know you were going to do one but unfortunately your wife fell ill. I hope she is better now
Thanks Marion
Happy New Years! I would love to have two classes a month so we cover straight and bottleneck cases, my challenge is with instructors. All have backed off due to concerns with legal liability. I don't feel capable to fill this on my own at this time, but if I can come up with a policy I may be able to lure this vast wealth of information back.
Otherwise you are waiting on me to gain more mastery and make it transferable. Keep poking at me on this, it will happen asap.
If I want my pick of lane on a weekend, I'm there by first light. Sometimes I'll see no one until 9am, sometimes all lanes will be full within an hour of dawn.

It is a toss up really. There is no legitimate way to know how busy it will be on any given day. I've driven to there at 12 in the afternoon on a sunny Saturday and all lanes would be empty. I've also camped out there for clean up efforts to have 10-12 cars come through at 6-7 in the morning to get a lane. My best advice is, if you think you will be the first by leaving early, leave even earlier.
