I know details probably can't be reviled, but I'd love to hear about the difficulties and what sets it apart from other suppressors. I assume it pertains to the internals? I find that stuff fascinating.

The internals aren't clone-ish at all. The original cans were just bad performing washer style. This one use standard clipped 50 degree interlocking clipped cones. Pretty much what any decent silencer maker is using these days. I do a good bit of AK work and always wanted to see if doing these was feasible. The M76 uses a really oddball flash suppressor that is externally threaded at its base 22x3mm LH interrupted, like a cannon beach , trapezoidal ALMOST Acme but with a different thread angle. Getting that down with my equipment was a big learning curve. Im probably the only guy who can tell you how to write the Q code for that. The lug at the rear cap locks onto the front sight and the back cap gets tightened down to secure the silencer to the fash suppressor. Its a terribly odd setup.

Ive got material to make about a dozen with 6 or 7 spoken for already. Not a cheap item to make or sell. After this Im moving onto a Russian PBS=1 style silencer . No one makes a good copy for some reason.

So the base threads were the most challenging due to their oddity?

And the base of the suppressor locking onto the front sight, that's a bit unique. I suppose that's what those prongs are? They must straddle the front sight base? Didn't think they were wide enough.

Those are actually too wide. Thats my prototype and I had to fix a few things before I get into normal "production": The scale is kind of misleading. That thing is huge. The rear cap being 2 1/8" wide and the silencer overall almost 12 inches.

Yeah those threads. Took me weeks to get them right only because I spent a lot of time bugging the manufacturer of the lathe and poking around on their forum which was a waste of time.

I don't suppose that .308 pistol is still around?
A suppressor on that thing would be unique to say the least.

I typically sell off a gun broker for those kind of things cause I don't do a lot of volume on them. And I'm too lazy to update my website. for special order though just let me know and I'll put it together and invoice you.

Yeah man I'll buy one always wanted one for my build! Got my m76 built out a few years back and I absolutely love it!
