Recently purchased this little 32ACP Zastava from a fellow member here. Having a "blast" with it. I've had fantastic results with 2.0 grains of titegroup and berrys 71gr reloads. Quite accurate. This gun does NOT like PPU 32ACP. Basically every other round doesn't completely eject so it can't cycle the next. Literally any other commercial ammo or my hand loads work flawlessly. Interestingly my grandfathers colt 1903 shoots the PPU stuff perfectly fine. Another forum contact suggested I try Pierce Grip extensions for my mags. They are normally meant for the beretta tomcat mags. So I bought a pair off Amazon to try. With a little fitting manipulations, They work great. I ended up contact cementing the new plastic floor plate to the original metal floorplate to ensure a snugger fit of the new extension. I can now just flip it upside down if I for some reason want to return to the oem baseplate. It's sure nicer to hold and shoot. I bought 4 more and did all my mags.

Years ago I reloaded .32 ACP. My experience was, there was no other cartridge I've reloaded where the configuration of the case head and rim varied so much from brand to brand.

These days, I've got a couple of .25 ACP pistols that came with my pal Dave's stuff. I'm not going to be crazy enough to reload for those. I bought two boxes of ammo to shoot a Beretta 950. It didn't like the Aguila as much as it liked the PPU. Both .25 and .32 ACP are rather small cartridges, it doesn't take too much manufacturing deviation (advertent or inadvertent) for them to not work well.

I'd forgotten, I've owned one of those CZ70's. Back around 2002, when they came over here as surplus and could be bought for $150. Mine had a different kind of grip on it, checkered pattern. If you take the grip off, there is no back strap on the frame.

Congrats on your classic little .32! I'm kind of a fan of the old school shooters myself. Here's a photo of my little Beretta .32 I picked up a while ago. It gets carry time for little runs to the Quicky Mart.

My dad left me with sooo much 32 for gramps colt, I just thought it prudent to obviously add another consumer to the food supply

Makes total sense right??
