These rifles were made by the Francotte company for the Westley Richards Company, for the Boers, prior to the Boer War. Only 7000 of the rifles were made, and most were destroyed by the British after the war. Over the past 20 years, I have only seen 4 examples come up for auction. This is a shootable rifle, and comes with a full box of unfired 577-450 cartridges, and a adapter for firing .45 Long Colt ammunition. Shipping is included in the price to a CONUS address.
