  1. I have read and accept the classified system rules and terms of service.
Up for sale is my very nice Zastava M48 rifle chambered in 8mm Mauser (7.92mmx57mm).

Rifle is all matching and in excellent condition with a bright shiny bore.

This was a Mitchell's Mausers import. They didn't mess with these M48s like they did with the K98s. These were unissued surplus rifles stored in cosmoline, hence the pristine condition.

I think I have the certificate it came with in the safe as well.

Buyer pays transfer, preferably at Adaptive Firing Solutions in Oregon City.

Atlantic Firearms is asking a crazy $750 for these, but I'd feel better at something like $600.

Thanks! Definitely thinking it's a fair price for a nice example. Lots of non-matching, bad bore, beat up ones out there still going for $400. Crazy.
No doubt. The RTI handpick is a glaring example. If you're dipping toes into milsurp avoiding the variants of m48 is a good start. I always look for good milsurp ammo too and got 1k Greek for sub .30 last week

Your comment on avoiding the variants makes no sense. I've got a variant of every M48 and they are good great rifles. You might want to clarify.

They're not bad in any way functionally but if you spent an extra 150 the non-stamped and matching ones not A,B… are probably worth it in the long run. I mean I shoot trash with mine and hose out corrosive so it's really just an opinion
