Unless you're using a VPN and other tools to mask your online activity it's all up for grabs for anyone with the know how.

also, what's to defend? Gay priest? That's hardly new, at least he wasn't one (that we know) that has a liking for young boys. He didn't do anything illegal, he was just a closeted priest.

"Assume that anything you do or say on the internet will be something you may have to explain to your children someday."

It wouldn't be much fun, but I could be honest about everything I have done on the internet. It's probably a lot harder for people who speak as if they are a moral authority though.
