The one nice thing that happened around 9/11 was the outpouring of support for the USA.
I think that has died over the years.

But the amount of American flags displayed at that time was amazing.

I still have one of the flags that was in the paper dispensers.

When I was younger we would visit my grandparents in Dallas TX and on holidays, every single house would fly the flag on the front porch.

Miss those days.
