Are you just dropping the barrels in and shooting? and do they all cycle reliably? I wasn't aware that one could use all three calibers in the same XD.

I had a XD40 with a 9mm conversion for a long time. I don't recall any malfunctions, even when I used the 40 mags. And I shot a lot of rounds through it.
