Looking to trade a my carbine for an 1884 or 1888 Trapdoor Rifle. Carbine comes with a nice sling, case and some loose ammo.

Also looking for an Austrain werndl or other strange black powder rifles.

Damn that thing is nice. That chrysanthemum looks like it can be restored if you eat away the layers of mum metal, or hit it with a fiber laser if you don't care about historical stuff.

What a great Arisaka if you take one more pic of the take down lever I can asses it more.

So far that's a Type 38, probably made in Tokyo under Kokura Arsenal or Koishikawa Arsenal (Tokyo), the bolt looks solid it if looks janky at the head it was made late war which is the Tokyo Juki Kogyo era.

The metal is nice, just take a look at firing pin and bore for complete assessment.
