Have had this gun for a long time, but with several other varmint rifles in the closet it has not been shot in years. Looking to offload and make room for something new.

Has a 24" #2 contour barrel and Simmons 6.5-20x40mm scope. Was a coyote killer and even shot a deer or two back in the day. In excellent condition. A few minor handling marks on the stock, but are no deeper than the finish. Would easily buff out if you wanted to restore.

did that era Vanguard have a good trigger, and what is a #2 contour barrel and do you know the twist rate/ sorry about all the questions but google isn't helping me much

It is a thicker barrel profile for varmint hunting, but not quite a bull barrel. It does have an adjustable trigger, which i believe is a Jewell trigger but cant remember for sure. Twist is 1:12.
