An uncommon piece, this revolver was assembled by S&W for Brazil, possibly the first shipment but also possibly the post-war shipment. The serial numbers on the cylinder and extractor match the frame; the barrel likely matches but for the ape working for the importer (IA CO SAC CA) stamping their mark over the flat. Highly unlikely it is non-matching, but judge for oneself per the image. The stocks do not match, probably from inspection/reassembly at some time, but are penciled within the same series. The cylinder has a slight plum look, but as the Brazilian crest, screw holes and all other markings are not washed out this revolver does not appear to have been refinished. Round frame and sight notch, S&W legend on the left side of the barrel. Timing and lockup are good. The bore and charge holes are perfect, and the charge holes are stepped, allowing firing without clips. Six full and two half moon clips included. No trades desired. $600, buyer pays fees at FFL of choice. The pics speak for themselves but ask any questions.
