Very glad to help. For whatever it is worth, Hunter's Lodge has long listed Spanish Mausers, including short rifles, at surprisingly reasonable rates. Alas, I cannot say if their offerings or good or not, as I have not availed myself of said. As with all things, caveat emptor.

No worries. Also check out some pawn shops. I've had real good luck with getting some good condition surplus. Hopefully they'll have what you're looking for, you never know.
