WTB - Looking for S&W 686 - PLEASE HELP.

All,

I am looking for a Smith & Wesson 686 4" barrel, .357 mag.

SERIAL No. AVE551

This was my dad's service revolver. He passed away last year and I would love to find it. He worked for the Pierce Co. Sherriff's dept and they sold it to The Marksman in Puyallup.

Unfortunately they do not have records from before 2001.

If anyone knows anyone with this model gun, maybe the could have them check the serial number? I would gladly replace said firearm with same or something else.

The Marksman sells alot of guns on Guns America.
It could be anywhere in the country.
My recommendation: go on the "Smith and Wesson Forum" and post your story.
