Won a GB auction for a S&W 625-6 week before last, had it shipped to my "local" FFL, Dave's Gun and Pawn in Riverside, WA. Did the paperwork a week ago Friday, was told approvals were taking even longer than usual due to short staff and high demand due to Covid 
. Figured I'd be lucky to get the go ahead by NEXT Friday, so imagine my surprise when I got the call Friday morning that I could go pick up my "new" gun ! So that was a 4 business day turn-around, pretty outstanding under the circumstances. Kim at Dave's was pretty surprised, too, she said she's still waiting on paperwork for stuff that came in the week before mine, guess I should go buy a Lotto ticket . More on the new gun another time, just wanted to let ya'll know there's still hope in Covidville. Later.
