As long as you're only going after calves and cows you should be OK. . A hair on the light side for a bull squirrel, but if you practice good shot placement you should be fine.

I'm not sure, I jumped at one in my side yard today trying to scare it off from burying peanuts in my strawberry patch, my neighbor feeds them year round.
