Help me pick a WML for a Glock 20 (Gen 3 SF).
I want one that doesnt stick out past the muzzle. Im familiar with Surefire X300U and Streamlight TLR 7-a but neither fit the Glock rail slot... I cant recall, dont all WMLs come with different rail slot "keys" or do I need to buy a WML specific to the Glock?

I've heard good things about cloud defensive's new EPL but it will definitely pass the muzzle. The TLR-1 is about as flush as you're gunna get.

Most lights come with different keys. The TLR7 specifically has a Glock version, Sig version and a 1913 version. All of which have different clamps. Streamlight will send you Glock ones for free if you reach out to them.

Nice, how do you like that HL-X?
Mine will be a woods gun so Id like something that lights up a good distance.
I use one on my M&P 10mm and have found no faults with it yet.

It won't get you the distance of a good handheld, but at normal defensive ranges, it's more than fine and will help you ID something 100-ish yards even though it may not blind it with light.

It's not my gun. Just found a photo online. I don't really like streamlights products. I don't own any of them anymore.
feel free to be brutally honest why?
Ive only got one Streamlight and its find but hasnt got much hard use to have an opinion. The G20 build will be a woods gun so Id like to know any light I put on it will be rugged.

Excellent info, thats all I need in a light.

I broke 2 TLR-1s. Their customer service is GREAT though! I broke the switch plate on both of mine. The swivel part snapped. Not the end of the world and they sent Me new back plates at no charge. But for smaller EDC lights they have are hard to beat. I don't EDC with a light so I don't have use for one. But if I was gunna put a light on a EDC it would be a streamlight. They're good lights. I just prefer Surefire for a full size light.

That gun has roughly 3000 rounds of 1350-1400fps hard-cast 10mm through it, the light never comes off.

Other than wiping the lens of residue, I've found no issues.

The G29 has a metric bubblegum-ton though it, but not all with the light.

I've known several crayon munchers that have broken that switch. It's been a a weak point ever since the introduction.

The TLR7 switches are much more robust and overall a better design in durability and usability.

I'll probably give the HL-X a try, Midway has them in stock. Im waiting like forever for the KKM barrel to arrive so I might wait a few days to order the light in case anyone else has any other suggestions. Appreciate all the info here :)
