In my humble opinion, the best pump action shot gun ever made. Made in 1949 and runs like it was made yesterday! In fantastic shape for a 70 year old shotgun.
It's the Riot model... with the factory short 20" CYL bore barrel. Light weight and extremely portable.
Yes it's a takedown... and heyll yes it will slam fire. The model 12 is one of only a few models ever made that will let you hold down the trigger and pump through the whole tube.
I assume this was a department issue of some sort... there is a rack number or some such behind the trigger guard, but I can't make it out. These were very popular in the PD and security sectors.
Action is buttery smooth, internally it looks like brand new... It was obviously very well maintained and rarely fired. No rust or pitting anywhere... Blueing is great, and so is the wood, with just a few scrapes and dings on the stocks... but it's 70 years old!
$500obo
I really need cash to help fund my sons graduation trip(A Texas hog hunt!) but I'll entertain partial trades as well.
