I would like to sell this Winchester Model 100 in .308 Win. It is a basket case. It currently will not extract or eject reliably. Looking at a spent case, I think the chamber needs to be polished. The extractor seems to work, it just can't get past the frosted chamber.
But I don't want to do it. Not gunsmithing full time anymore, I just don't have the time or desire. So I'm pricing this as such.
The gun is a first year production as far as I can tell. The stock is solid, but could use refinish. The metal is pretty much the same thing. Solid, but with wear. The only part that is a little funky, appearance wise, is the charging handle. A previous owner jury rigged a bolt through it (see photo). The part to replace it is hard to find, so I haven't.
A little work and this could be a nice rifle. Or strip it for parts. Or polish the chamber and have a shooter. Up to you.
