Fits M70 long action, push feed. I'm no wood species expert but I believe it's made from Claro or French walnut because of its light color and high contrast. In very good condition but, in my opinion, could use a refinish. Has a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Has been epoxy bedded for said action. Asking $300 face to face, plus shipping beyond the Willamette Valley.

Do you have any idea which model 70 this stock mated up with. I have a pre 64 model 70
in 270, circa 1951, and would be very interested if the fit were correct with no alterations
required.

this came off a post 64 push feed. seems I checked the serial # once and it was 1968. hole to hole of the action screws is 7 5/8"...

Lifted from 24 hour campfire. No outside confirmation:
Post-64 long action = 7.575 inches.

Post-64 short action = 7.035 inches.

Pre-64 action = 7.450 inches.
