I just inherited a Winchester 88 .243 lever action rifle. Interesting piece to say the least. This particular gun seems to have the safety configuration backwards for a right handed person. As you are looking down the sights, you have to depress the safety button with your thumb on the left side of the gun. Did they make these in right and left hand configurations? Or is the safety reversible?

Thanks in advance for the help!
