2nd year of Winchester's first commercial bolt-action rifle in the venerable .30 Gov't '06 caliber (.30-'06). All metal is in very good condition and is freakishly unworn for a 90 year old rifle; the toe of the butt has a small bit of wear. Wait a second, it does have a repair in the stock behind the rear sight. Wears a Lyman long slide rear sight (try finding one of those!) and blade front. Receiver is factory drilled for scope, bolt numbered to receiver and handle not modified for scope clearance, as a lot of these were. All original, even has the hook & eye swivels!
