  1. I have read and accept the classified system rules and terms of service.
Model 1892
44 WCF (44-40)
Serial number 196xxx

PRICE REDUCED TO $950.
A knowledgeable member DM'd me and confirmed the magazine tube must have been cut down. He also pointed out that the butt stock is not original and my research supports his conclusion. Given this, I reduced the price considerably.

This is a 120 year old model 1892 in very good functional and cosmetic condition. I have fired ~25 rds and found it very accurate. Functions smoothly. Wood and metal show its age with a beautiful patina and a variety of light dings.

It looks well used and well cared for. 24" barrel with a 20" magazine tube. The magazine may be original, might have been cut down or could be a replacement. It appears to be the same age as the rifle and was most likely cut down. The rifle had sling studs but the front is missing. The rifling is sharp and bore looks great.

Beautiful rifle for collecting or use.

Any discussion is appreciated, including feedback on listing and price.

Thanks

With Winchester you could order any barrel length any mag tube length or stock style. Winchester would build almost anything the customer wanted, the stock on your gun looks like the shotgun butt. the shotgun buttplate was usually hard rubber with a widows peak.
