Somewhere in the past 4 pages, I believe it was mentioned that a lot of the land out there is owned by Weyerhauser or some of the other timber giants; have you considered asking if they will cover disposal of materials from adjoining land? It would be a great PR thing for them, and relatively limited in cost to them, as well.

Another thought I had when you mentioned appliances was.... sell them to scrappers. If someone has a pickup and a sturdy trailer, load it up, strap them in, and scrap everything that's metal. It should at least cover the cost of gas and trash bags.
