I presume 300 H&H mag is always a bolt gun. = Less wear and tear on brass? = More loadings. So you got that going for you.

I hope so - the rifle is new to me as is the cartridge - getting it ready for elk season next year.

The Ruger American Ranch in .223 and 7.62x39. Both great shooters. Now unobtainium.


I also own and like the Ruger PCC and previously the Police Carbine so well, I now want the PCC in .40. Also completely unavailable thru my normal channels.



The Ruger American Rimfire Target is also towards the top of my wish list.
