Wham-O of Frisbee fame marketed a .22 pistol at one time.
When such was "re-discovered" not long ago, they engaged "not-so-plausible" deniability, publicly declaring "WAMO" (the brand name on the gun) was in no way connected to their company.
It was total horse-puckey. They indeed had for a short time become one of America's "predatory arms merchants".
Flight characteristics of a handgun most probably did not lend itself to "Disc Golf", which may or may not be a reason it was discontinued.
