Going to get married in August it's going to be hot haven't set a specific location but in the nw I'm going to hope to keep in in the shade.
It's going to be just her and I not a big wedding so don't have to worry to much about the 99 other problems that come with it.
I would like to see some tuxedos that people have wore that support shoulder holsters.
Might just go otw with whatever I think fits the suit that day.

Any chance you are left handed?

No need to spend 14 bills on an SMZ holster…

Have you ever used a shoulder holster? I have LIKED them a lot for decades. I found out early on to NOT buy cheap. If its just going to be for the one occasion? Then would not matter. If you think you may want to keep using it buy a good one. Galco Jackass or Miami Classic have LONG been my go to. If you choose one are you renting the Tux? If so good idea to wear the holster and pistol when you go in to fit the Tux.

If that's you in your avatar photo, you must be the "Boss Baby"!

;):D

I would be surprised if you would be able to pull off a shoulder rig in a rented tux. Tuxedos are usually pretty tailored so there's probably not going to be enough room for a shoulder rig. I would make sure you have a couple of backup plans.

To that end, I would think you could get an ankle rig under a tux pretty easily.,..as long as it's not one of the newer, ultra tailored styles where the pants are more like skinny jeans...which I personally think looks ridiculous anyway.

Would a low key, black, fanny pack be an option at all? Or have you thought about having a suit made? I realize that's probably a bit of money but it's nice to have a tux on hand and you tend to find a lot more occasions to wear one when you own one. But I understand if you don't want to spend the money.

Good luck and congrats!

If it is going to be a one time thing just get a belly band holster, they can be worn at different levels/ heights.

I are not last time I checked

Tux pants are tailored to "Hang " just right, this usually leaves room for a pocket carried gun or a belly band covered by a Cumber bun. these will cover a pretty big gun. And in the heat, it allows you to remove your jacket and still be concealed.
40 years ago I was still carrying a full size gun, So I bought a PPK for the wedding.
Take either the unloaded gun or a blue gun to the fitting, tell the fitter this is what you will be wearing, and they will fit the suit to cover the gun. Most are used to this.
At my own wedding I was a little nervous but the rental place assured me they do lots of "Cop" weddings. I never told them I was not a Cop. Good Luck DR

Have you seen the North American Arms belt buckle 22's? Classy!

Or just get married somewhere that you don't need a firearm. Unless it turns your gal on, I suspect you'd be better off thinking about her than whether your EDC is going to fall out.

I know, it's crazy and risky but you could get married unarmed.

A gun is no defence against the risk's involved in marriage.

Leave it at home and embrace your leap of faith.

Your entourage can provide security.
