Selling both of my hunting rigs to consolidate to one.
I bought this new circa 2006. It is pre model 2. It has the matte finish wood stock and blued barrel. The bluing has come off of the crown of the barrel (I'd rather shoot my toe than my face riding in a truck). It was sent back to Weatherby around 2012 as a small crack had developed in the stock at the bolt relief. They put a new stock on it with a clean bill of health. Not sure if I can come up with the paperwork as I've moved a couple times. It has had maybe 200 rounds run through the rifle.
Scope is a Leupold 3-9 VX1, I believe. I bought it new at the time of the rifle as well. It has had flip up caps on it (do not come with) so there is some slight scuffing on the ends from taking them off and on.
Comes with all the .30-06 ammo I have. About 60 rounds total. Remington (rifle seems to like the core-locked) in 165/180, Hornady 150gr, Federal 150/180gr.
Looking to get $600 for the package. Will pay FFL fees for the asking price. Face to face only in Portland metro. There are a lot of pawn shops in my area (97233).
