Ok me and @Melmelhunter just got home from deer hunting .
Are last deer hunt this year unless we go to a late season hunt area.
We didn't get a deer .
But hunting is hunting. Going to put away the rifles and get out the shotguns.
For ducks.

We live across the road from a 11,000 acre lake. We hunt the other side. This side is the refuge side. Every night around 6:30pm all the ducks fly to the roost. We counted a estimate of about 10,000 last night.
we are sure lucky to have great duck hunting right here.

Last Tues me and @Melmelhunter went out.
Heavy winds over 30 mph probably 40 mph at times I got a green head she got a widgen .
Then we called it a day .

Just bought a Beretta A300 curious what brand of shells y'all shoot for Ducks. I'm going out the Sunday after Christmas with a buddy. The only 3" #2 shells I found were Hevi 3"#2 $45.00 a box. That was a Sportsmans I about feel over. I've read a a couple reviews and some are saying there Beretta prefers some shells over others.

I use hevi shot but it is expensive.
Also Kent fast steal .
I also use the cheap winchester Super X .
Sometimes that you can buy at walmart.
For duck #1 #2 #3 even #4 if you want .
Just depends on the choke and how far you will be shooting
