As a kid in the early 60s, Dad's job took us to New Orleans for the summer. The joke there was that the water was so bad you even brushed your teeth with beer

As of this morning the "Boil Notice" has been lifted. Bureau recommends flushing of all taps for about 2 minutes just to be safe.
