Since when has sending any correspondence to our "representatives" ever made an actual difference? They don't give a damn about the constitution or our rights. Just more money and more government overreach. The democrats won't be happy till every gun has been banned and everyone who owns guns is a criminal.

Not at all. I donate to those much smarter than I to fight our fights. I've written to my representatives. I've voted in every election possible. But yeah, snarky comments have always helped win battles..

The law makers here will of course ignore anyone who tells them no on this but, I keep hoping at some point enough people will finally start to pull their head out and vote better. It will be interesting to watch assuming the FOID card thing becomes law. To see how many years later we see gun owners come to the net to scream they just heard of it

Have to have a permit and permission to purchase a firearm. Take mandatory in person safety course, yada yada......

Wrong bill number in the title, it's actually HB1163.

I've written my state senator, which is where the bill is now. He's a staunch anti-gunner, very polite fellow, attended high school with my son, I've never voted for him. He answers my letters with polite responses saying he will consider my opinions. Yes, he will consider them, but never acts in concert with them.

This guy has never worked a day in his life outside of politics. The Wash. state legislature is part time. During the off season, local Dem. bosses find made up public jobs for him here and there.

This is how it works in a Dem. party machine state. You can vote against the buggers every time, it does no good.
