I would vote for a chimpanzee or a blow up doll if it runs against the two dingalings from Washington.

At least Murray didn't lie to me. In a email response after sandy hook she told me she would vote to further restrict my rights. How she has been around so long, I do not know.

Yes, but unfortunately, as we all know, there are people here who DID and WILL vote for them, and who voted for "O."

This puts the whole gun rights argument into the right perspective. We, as gun owners, are divided as to what is best, what is right. I don't have a lot of time for the extremist types at one end of the spectrum or the other.

Like I asked in a column a while back...with Murray and Cantwell representing Washington...who speaks for gun owners?

Murray and Cantwell are liberals that vote the party line without a logical thought. If there was ever a solid argument for term limits it would be these two.
As a side note: I made it through this entire post without profanity. I hear they are reading my emails :)

We need to do more that vote against them in the next election. We need to actively educate everyone we know to why we need to get rid of these bad senators. We need to start today and not wait until the day before the election. If we don't continue on with our fight we will regret it because they will get more organized and they are already working up the lies they will tell to win. We all worked hard and was a little lucky too, but lets keep the fight going until we are assured victory in every corner. Until we get a new president the fight must go on! They are saying we won because of filibuster and lies and they are going to continue brainwashing the public with the 90% until the next vote so we just got to keep going!

Exactly the same thing can be said for Oregon. I feel so unrepresented by Wyden and Merkley.

Is it 2014, yet?

Wyden and Merkley (worthless bastards) both voted for all three major bills the only "R" for these was Kirk IL ytegu3ym.jpg 5atyge9a.jpg pyzygu6a.jpg

Interestingly enough 2 Colorado Senators voted againt it, WTH!!! What happened to their state legislators??? I know they had brain farts B-4 the votes!!!

Don't get too excited. The weapon and magazine ban and zero traction and was never going to make it thru the Senate. This vote just was on one hand a hat tip to gun control groups showing they are trying to do something, and on the other allowing vulnerable Democrats in gun friendly or red states to vote no on a gun control bill.

Frankly, I think the ONLY way we're gonna get rid of Can'tvotewell and Patty bin "Wanted To Have Osama's Love Child" Murray is to infiltrate the King County Demokratik Kommunist Krapsucker Party and mount Primary Election Challenges against them... posing as EVEN MORE Radical Left.

for some reason many vets (older, korea, mostly vietnam) think murray is good because of stuff she has done for vets. when lived i in snohomish this seemed to be the case. the gun carrying liberal democrat one called himself. which i would argue he had libertarian views, but didnt realize it because they've been brain washed to only care about social issues, and the dems here just legalize hot button issues. and slip gun control in before they notice. i would argue most people are libertarian and dont realize it.

We just need to wake them up to the fact that the American Dream will be unattainable in our present course. Taking care of the freeloaders and buying all medical insurance will tax the American Dream away and the children and grand children will never be able to attain the Dream because of the tax load. The American Dream is impossible under Socialisms, share the wealth ideology. This is something the immigrants need to realize too because most of them came here for the American Dream,,, they can either back what protects that dream or continue to stay on the same course of destroying the Dream.:s0058:

A great visual resource for how each senator voted on each amendment:

Gun control voting map shows which senators supported which amendments. - Slate Magazine

As a vet, the fact that neither of WA's senators found it in themselves to vote for Sen. Richard Burr's amendment to protect the Second Amendment rights of veterans and their families is disheartening, to say the least.

Sen. Burr complained that when the Veterans' Affairs Department determines that a veteran is no longer able to make financial decisions, the veterans' name is sent to the FBI and added to the federal gun purchase ban list.

His amendment would have required a judicial ruling to determine if the veteran is dangerous before they are banned from buying guns, as is done in civil commitments and criminal proceedings.

Sen. Burr said the ban also affects family members who share a residence with the veterans, because guns are banned from the home.

What do I take away from this? That some people are either willing to use any excuse, and any means (even if it violates a person's civil rights) to achieve their goal of banning civilian ownership of firearms, or if they aren't really the strict adherents of party line politics that they appear to be, they certainly lack the capacity for any original thought.

Unfortunately we can vote against our to Senators all we like here in Washington. Whatever we do will be canceled out by the folks in King County alone...they may up over 1/2 the total population of this state. When you lump in Island County, Pierce County and Thurston county you see why liberals have had control of this state for almost three decades.

What we really need are new states. Here's how I'd divvy them, based on politics:

"Sage" = Eastern Oregon and Eastern Washington

"Douglas" = Western Oregon and Western WA

"Klamath" = Southern Oregon + Upper Northern California

"Guano" = Rest of California
