Amazing. Those old Brit bikes were not designed to work in desert temperatures.

I had a friend who rode his Norton 650SS from 29 Palms California to Las Vegas and back, must have been over 100 degrees the whole time. He made it almost all the way back going 85mph until he welded his rings to his pistons...

Modern synthetic oil probably helps a lot.
