Old shoulder holster for a revolver not sure what kind but a model 10 s&w does not fit. Im thinking a .22 ruger or something with a small frame. Back is stamped 1954 with the number 17 under it Wyeth is the trade mark on the button. $40 ftf vancouver area will trade for 9mm .38 ammo or beretta 92 stuff have a nice day 154074503547612531154.jpg 15407451938641005761268.jpg 15407452352181005321160.jpg

Considering the stamping ("17" and "1954"), maybe it was made for a Smith & Wesson Model 17?

That sounds logical--but. The model 17 is the numerical model for the older K22, which is a
K frame. The K frame size guns started with the old 38 hand ejector, and include the
model 10. There is also the pesky fact that the K22 wasn't called the Model 17 until 1957.

If it's made by Wyeth Hardware, it could have some value. They were in business from
1859 to 1989, and some of their old stuff goes for crazy money.
