This is a 1998 early imported .308 caliber Russian VEPR import in very good shape. It shows little use, except some small safe dings. These were the best of the Russian imports. Look at the smooth sides of this receiver and compare it to the new VEPRs with the welding dimples on the sides. These early imports had the highest level of workmanship. I believe this is a Robinson Armament import. It sports a heavy 20" chrome lined barrel for exceptional accuracy, while retaining the unmatched reliability of the AK rifle, and it's in the powerful .308 nato caliber. The bore is perfect. It has an adjustable for windage rear sight. It uses the extra tough RPK machine gun style front trunnion .Notice how it sticks out on the sides at the front of the receiver. Included are a stock ten round magazine and scope mount. Also the original box with cleaning rod and oil bottle. $750 Trades considered...Anything AK, Milt. Surp.308 ammo,1911s,what do you have? I have no interest in poly pistols or AR15s.
