Value of actions alone

Hello all! It looks like I will finally realise a goal for 2020 - to have some gun-smithing done. I will be having a switch barrel system done using the CZ 550 action. While I have basically one action to fit different barrels/ calibres, this means I will have left over complete actions and stocks.

So what might a gently used CRF CZ 550 action be worth? With or without stock?

Brownells used to sell new CZ 550 actions around the $600 mark years ago. I havent seen any available for a long time. the used market seems to fluctuate a bit for complete 550 rifles. I have seen prices from low 500s to mid 800s.

keep us posted. i love my CZ 550 varmint rifle and am intrigued in a switch barrel set up

Will do! I wanted the 550 Varmint but wanted a faster twist.

A net search brought me to that info about Brownell's, too. Now they seem to sell only the Magnum versions.
