I have a us Springfield model 1884 45 70 for sale. The gun is all original and in good shape. There is no rust and the bore is in good shape. Its a fun gun to shoot . It does nicks, scratches, and a few scars but overall is still a nice gun. I have 100 round os ammo that go with it as well. I live by long beach washington but will meet within reasonable distance. Can this handle modern 45-70 or is this black powder?

These rifles were originally used with black powder but can handle smokeless loads to "Cowboy spec" possible a little more. So light smokeless loads. Hope this helps
