Just got this rifle and was planning on switching out the muzzle. I pulled one half of the muzzle off thinking the larger threads would thread off of the barrel, but upon further inspection it seems that the larger threaded piece is connected to the front sight block. I'm not sure what this set up is. Maybe I need some sleep but has anyone seen this before and know what the purpose of this is and whether or not I'd have to replace the sight block entirely to get the smaller threads back?
