Another cut and thread I wanted to share with you wonderful folks.
M+M M10 (same as an RH-10 WASR) used to have a full length 16" barrel that looked quite awkward protruding from the combo block. Customer wanted it chopped and re-threaded M14x1LH so that he could use a Keymo flash hider and his Dead Air suppressor. Rifle was disassembled down to a barreled action, the front sight was pressed off, and the barrel work was done on the lathe with a 4 jaw chuck, live center, and steady rest.
It shoots pretty nice, and looks so much better now than it did.
