FYI, this barrel was built to shoot 5.56 cal. rounds. but it will also shoot .223 cal. rounds safely.
It is not recommended to shoot 5.56 cal. rounds out of a .223 designed barrel,
because of the higher pressures associated with the 5.56 rounds.....Google it to confirm.
