Never heard of one in eight years - doesn't mean there are none, but I never met a Japanese who owned a real gun. No gun mags, either, that were airsoft.
THEY, OTOH, were truly awesome both in content and in the way they were produced

Last one I went to, at the National Exhibition Centre Warley, Birmingham, was over a long weekend, and attracted just over 40,000 visitors.

It has been bigger, but not while I was there to see it.
